Ingredients

  • 50 ml water
  • 2 tablespoon coffee powder, instant (Nescafe)
  • 175 g mararine, soft
  • 100 ml cream
  • 4 egg (s), knocked
  • 275 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 100 g cocoa powder (chocolate powder)
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • Chocolate, 6 chocolate sticks (Schoggibranchli)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the coffee powder in water and place in a mixing bowl. Add margarine, cream and eggs and mix with a mixer. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and salt and stir. Stir in cocoa powder, then sieve in flour and baking powder and stir until a smooth dough is formed. Fill a prepared 30 cm loaf pan with 1/3 of the dough and place 2 chocolate sticks lengthways on the dough. Pour 1/3 of the batter again and put in 2 chocolate sticks again. Pour in the rest of the batter and place the last 2 chocolate sticks on top.
  2. Bake in the bottom third of the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 60 minutes.
