Ingredients

  • 100 g flour (chickpea flour)
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ turmeric (tumeric)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ chili powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ baking powder
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 25 g coriander reens
  • Water, cold
  • Vegetable oil for deep-frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, baking powder and spices in a large bowl, then add the finely sliced onion and the finely chopped coriander and mix well. Gradually add enough water to make a thick batter. The onions must be well covered.
