Pound Cake

A very unusual and delicious cake with pistachios and prunes. The most important “trick” of preparation is that the cake has an unusual salty taste in combination with prunes and pistachios!

Ingredients

  • Flour – 170 Grams
  • Starch – 35 Grams
  • Baking powder – 5 grams
  • Butter – 140 Grams
  • Eggs – 3 Pieces
  • Pistachios – 45 Grams
  • Prunes – 80 Grams
  • Thyme – 3 Pieces (twigs)
  • Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients.
  2. Peel the pistachios.
  3. All dry ingredients must be sieved and mixed in a deep bowl.
  4. Add softened butter, beaten eggs, salt and thyme. Beat the mixture until white. Finally, add chopped prunes and nuts. We mix.
  5. We cover the baking dish with parchment, distribute the dough in shape. We bake in the oven for 45 minutes, temperature 190 degrees.
  6. Cool the finished muffin and carefully remove the parchment.
