Pumpkin Snack Cake with Mayonnaise, Garlic and Dill Sauce

If you want to surprise your guests, make a pumpkin pie snack. Sweet pumpkin-based cakes go well with mayonnaise, garlic and dill sauce.

Ingredients

  • Pumpkin – 600 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Flour – 50 g
  • Garlic – 15 g (5 cloves)
  • Mayonnaise – 200 g
  • Fresh dill – 1 bunch
  • Salt – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – for greasing the pan

Directions

  1. We prepare the necessary products.
  2. We wash the pumpkin, peel and rub on a coarse grater.
  3. Peel the garlic and pass it through a press.
  4. Add eggs, flour and half the garlic to the grated pumpkin. Salt and pepper.
  5. Mix thoroughly with a spoon.
  6. Grease the pan (the dia of the bottom of my pan is 20 cm) with vegetable oil and heat it up.
  7. Put the prepared mixture in a preheated pan (2-3 tablespoons). Use a spoon to spread the mixture evenly over the bottom of the pan.
  8. Fry the pumpkin crust over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  9. We get such a ruddy cake.
  10. I got 6 cakes.
  11. Finely chop the dill. Mix mayonnaise, dill and remaining garlic. Grease the cakes with the resulting sauce, laying them one on top of the other.
  12. To soak the pumpkin snack cake, put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
    We decorate the cake at our discretion.
  13. The snack cake is served cold.
  14. This cake looks beautiful on a festive table.
