Rice Baked with Chicken Liver, Apples and Cheese

Rice baked with chicken liver, apples and cheese is an appetizing and satisfying dish that will allow you to feed the whole family deliciously. All components are laid out in layers. When baked, rice is saturated with the taste and aroma of chicken liver, fried onions, and apples, everything is complemented on top by an appetizing cheese crust. The dish turns out to be juicy, tender, aromatic, and very tasty!

Servings: 7

Ingredients

  • Chicken liver – 600 g
  • Rice – 180 g
  • Onions – 420 g (3 pcs.)
  • Apples – 380 g (3 pcs.)
  • Sour cream (20% fat) – 300 g
  • Hard cheese – 200 g
  • Fresh greens (for decoration) – to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper (a mixture of ground peppers) – to taste

Directions

  1. Rinse the rice and pour 400-450 ml of water, add some salt.
  2. Boil rice until cooked (about 20 minutes). The water should be completely absorbed.
  3. Peel the onions and cut them into cubes.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoon in a frying pan. tablespoons of vegetable oil. Fry the onion over low heat for 10-15 minutes, until soft and golden.
  5. We wash the chicken liver, cut it into 2 parts, remove the excess films.
  6. Grease the baking dish with the remaining vegetable oil. Put the rice in an even layer in a mold.
  7. Spread the chicken liver evenly on top of the rice.
  8. Salt and sprinkle with a mixture of peppers.
  9. Put the fried onions on the liver.
  10. We turn on the oven and heat it up to 180 degrees. Peel and seed the apples and rub them on a coarse grater. Put the grated apples on the onions.
  11. Smooth the apples with an even layer.
  12. Cover the apple layer with sour cream.
  13. Grate the cheese on a medium grater and spread it in the last layer.
  14. We cover the form with foil (the foil should not touch the surface of the dish) and send it to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
  15. Rice baked with chicken liver, apples, and cheese, arrange in portions, decorate with herbs if desired, and serve.
