Rice Porridge Casserole with Raisins

This simple recipe – raisin rice casserole – is a great alternative to morning porridge. If a child refuses to eat ordinary porridge, then he will definitely like such an appetizing dessert.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Rice – 150 g
  • Raisins – 100 g
  • Milk – 0.5-0.6 L
  • Eggs – 1-2 pcs.
  • Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Sugar – 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon

Directions

  1. The rice is washed.
  2. A thick, viscous porridge is cooked from milk and rice. For this, the milk is brought to a boil. Pour prepared rice into it and bring to a boil again. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes. Then cook without a lid for another 10 minutes, stirring regularly.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat, mix the rice with oil, salt, and sugar, leave for 10 minutes.
  4. Raisins are washed in warm water and dried with a napkin.
  5. Eggs and raisins are added to the porridge and mixed well.
  6. Turn on the oven. The mold is greased with vegetable oil. The mass of rice porridge is laid out in a mold greased with vegetable oil and placed in a preheated oven.
  7. Rice porridge casserole is baked for 15-20 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
  8. A simple raisin porridge rice casserole is ready.
