Sandwiches with Potatoes

Such unpretentious sandwiches or croutons with potatoes are delicious both hot and cold. For example, you can take them with you on the road, for a picnic or for a snack to work.

Cook: 30 minutes

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • Bread – 6-8 slices
  • Potatoes – 3 pcs.
  • Bulb onions – 0.5 pcs.
  • Chicken eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Salt to taste
  • Spices to taste
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

How to make potato sandwiches:

Directions

  1. Cut the loaf and/or long loaf into slices or pieces of the desired size.
  2. Chop the onion finely.
  3. Grate potatoes and combine with onions.
  4. Add eggs, salt, and optionally garlic and/or aromatic herbs. Stir the filling until smooth.
  5. Place a serving of potato filling on each piece of bread.
  6. Fry the sandwiches as follows: in vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat, first with the potato side, and then with the bread side.
  7. The potato filling should be completely fried.
  8. Add oil to the skillet as needed.
