Ingredients

  • 4 sheet / s puff pastry, frozen
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 4 small apples, (Pinova)
  • 4 tablespoon jam, (to taste)
  • 4 teaspoons marzipan
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tonka bean (s)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ custard powder, vanilla
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and cut out the core. Seal one end of the hole with marzipan and fill the other side with the jam.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry with a little flour and a rolling pin. Spread the apples in the middle. Brush the edges with water and fold up or press together so that the dough covers the entire apple.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for almost 30 minutes. Then dust with powdered sugar.
  4. Bring 200 ml milk, tonka beans and sugar to a boil in a saucepan. Whisk the rest of the milk, egg and custard powder together. Pour into the boiling liquid while stirring and bring to the boil. Remove the beans from the sauce before serving.
  5. Serving:
  6. Place the tonka bean sauce on a deep plate and place the stuffed apple in the puff pastry on top. Dust with a little icing sugar.
