Ingredients
For the dough:
- 375 grams flour
- 1 packet yeast (dry yeast)
- 50 grams sugar
- 100 ml milk, lukewarm
- 100 g butter, melt
- 100 g douh (Hermann)
For covering:
- 1 liter milk
- 200 g suar
- 250 g poppy seeds, whole
- 125 g semolina
- 1 lemon (s), the zest
- 2 egg (s)

- Mix flour with yeast and sugar in a bowl, add milk, butter and Hermann and knead to a smooth dough. Let rise for about an hour.
- Then roll out on a baking sheet. Let go further.
- Bring the milk to the boil, then stir in the sugar, poppy seeds, semolina, egg yolk and lemon zest. Bring to the boil briefly and let cool down.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold under.
- Spread the mixture on the cake and bake at 200 ° C for 30 minutes.
