Yorkshire Pudding

Today on our menu is a recipe that has become the “calling card” of Yorkshire. We suggest you bake Yorkshire pudding, which we are sure will settle in your culinary piggy bank. This pudding is somewhat reminiscent of airy savory buns. By the way, Yorkshire pudding can be complemented with a variety of fillings and spreads.

Ingredients

  • Milk – 280 ml
  • Flour – 160 g
  • Chicken egg – 3 pcs.
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil – 30 ml

Directions

  1. Break the declared amount of chicken eggs into a suitable bowl.
  2. Add salt to the chicken eggs, and then add the whole milk norm to the chicken eggs. Mix all the ingredients introduced with a whisk. We just have to add wheat flour to the resulting milk and egg mass. It is recommended to sift it.
  3. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and beat a little with a whisk. The pudding base is ready. We leave it to “rest” for 20-25 minutes.
  4. We turn on the oven (set the temperature to 200 degrees). We put a baking dish in it so that it warms up well. We keep the form in the oven for 15 minutes. Then we take out the form. Pour a little vegetable oil into each compartment. Return the mold to the oven for 3 minutes. During this time, the oil will warm up well.
  5. Take out the mold again and pour in the pudding dough. We fill the offices by half.
  6. We bake Yorkshire pudding at 210 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Do not open the oven during baking.
  7. Yorkshire pudding is ready!
