Zucchini Waffles

Zucchini waffles are one of the options for a quick and healthy breakfast. Zucchini waffles according to this recipe are very tender and fluffy.

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Zucchini – 300 g
  • Wheat flour – 100 g
  • Sour cream – 3 tablespoon.
  • Chicken egg – 1 pc.
  • Salt – 2/3 teaspoon

If you do not have an electric waffle iron, you can use this recipe to cook pancakes in a pan or bake them in the oven.

Directions

  1. Peel the zucchini, remove the seeds, grate on a coarse grater.
  2. Add salt and sour cream to the grated zucchini. Stir the mass.
  3. Beat the egg into a bowl, stir.
  4. Gradually stir in the sifted flour into the squash mass.
  5. Heat the waffle iron for thick waffles, brush the plates with sunflower oil with a culinary brush. Put the squash dough in a waffle iron in a thin layer.
  6. Close the waffle iron and bake the waffles until tender, following the instructions for your waffle iron.
  7. Zucchini waffles can be served with a variety of sauces.
