Ingredients

  • 1.2 g potato (s)
  • 200 g bacon (without rind) or ham
  • 5 medium egg (s)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ pepper, white
  • 150 grams flour
  • 150 ml milk

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and grate coarsely with a grater. Cut the bacon into cubes or use ham (cut into cubes).
  2. Mix the potato mixture with the milk, eggs and flour to a creamy dough. Finally, carefully fold in the bacon. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes and season again to taste.
  3. Now preheat a waffle iron. Spread the dough on top with a large spoon and bake it out.
  4. A beef goulash goes very well with it.
