Ingredients

  • 2 schnitzel, breaded
  • 150 g bacon or Black Forest ham, thinly sliced
  • 1 large can condensed milk (0% fat)
  • 1 lemon (s)
  • Oil or margarine for frying
  • Parsley, fresh or dried
  • some cream, possibly

Instructions

  1. Fry the schnitzel until crispy. Cut the bacon or Black Forest ham into strips and fry in a little oil or margarine. Deglaze with the condensed milk, bring to the boil carefully and add the juice of one lemon, stirring constantly so that nothing burns. There is no need to season, the ham has enough flavor.
  2. Then simmer gently until it becomes creamy. The lemon blocks the milk a little, but that`s on purpose. If you like, you can also add a dash of cream, then it will be even creamier. Finally stir in the chopped parsley (fresh or dried) and then serve with the schnitzel.
  3. We love green peas and French fries with it, but croquettes or hash browns also taste great with it. This sauce also goes well with unbreaded meat, such as B. Turkey or chicken breast fillet.
