Butter Buns with Jam

Spoil yourself and your family with amazingly tender buns with jam. These mouth-watering homemade pastries will fill the atmosphere of any tea party with warmth and comfort.

Ingredients

  • Jam (jam) thick, homogeneous – 200 g
  • Flour – 500 g + for rolling out the dough
  • Warm milk – 200 ml for dough + 1 tbsp for greasing buns
  • Eggs – 3 pcs. (2 pieces for dough + 1 piece for greasing buns)
  • Butter – 75 g
  • Dry fast-acting yeast – 7 g
  • White sugar – 140 g (90 g for dough + 50 g for syrup)
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon.
  • Sunflower oil – 1-2 tbsp
  • Water (for syrup) – 100 ml

Directions

  1. Sift wheat flour into the mixer bowl. Pour sugar, dry yeast and salt there. Stir.
  2. Then pour warm (35-37 degrees) milk and butter into the dry mixture, which you previously dissolve to a liquid state (in the microwave), also slightly warm.
    Add 2 eggs and mix everything with a mixer with dough kneading attachments.
  3. Knead the mass at low mixer speeds for about 4-5 minutes, until an elastic homogeneous dough is obtained.
  4. The dough is tender and slightly sticky. Therefore, grease your hands with sunflower oil, collect the dough in a lump and transfer it to another container. Cover with plastic wrap, wrap something warm, such as a towel, and leave the dough warm for 1-1.5 hours.
  5. The yeast dough will double or even triple.
  6. Pour a little flour on the work surface, lay out the fluffy dough and gently knead it. Then immediately divide into 11-12 pieces, which you roll into balls.
  7. Take a ball of dough, roll it into an oval shape and then grease it with a layer of jam (jam). Leave the edges of the oval cake blank.
  8. Roll it up.
  9. Make a longitudinal cut in the middle of the roll, but not completely, leaving one edge uncut.
  10. Twist the cut pieces a couple of times together (with a tourniquet) and fasten the ends.
  11. Twist the resulting flagellum “snail”.
  12. From the rest of the balls of dough, form buns in the same way and put them on a baking sheet covered with parchment.
  13. Let the jam buns rest for 20 minutes so that the yeast dough regains its splendor.
    Then mix the yolk of the remaining third egg with a spoonful of milk and gently grease the yeast buns.
    Bake buns with jam in a preheated oven for about half an hour at 180 degrees.
  14. Simultaneously prepare sugar syrup. In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar, put on fire and simmer for a couple of minutes with a quiet boil. Let it cool.
  15. Remove the finished brown rolls from the oven and immediately grease with sugar syrup.
  16. Homemade buns with jam are very soft, appetizing ruddy and unrealistically tasty.
