Ingredients

  • 1 packet puff pastry from the refrigerated shelf
  • 80 g cooked ham
  • 80 g cheese, rated
  • 60 g crème fraîche
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chives, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • garlic
  • 1 egg (s)
  • possibly tomato (s), dried in oil

Instructions

  1. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 6 equal squares.
  2. Finely chop the ham and mix with the cheese, mustard, chives and crème fraîche. Now season the mixture with the spices.
  3. Whisk the egg in a cup. Brush the edges of the puff pastry squares with the egg. Put a good tablespoon of the filling in the middle of each square and fold the square into a triangle. Press the edges lightly into place. Now roll up the triangles and bend them into croissants.
  4. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with egg. Bake at 200 ° C top / bottom heat on the middle rack for 20-25 minutes.
  5. They taste best fresh from the oven.
  6. Variation: It becomes particularly spicy if you replace about half of the ham with pickled, dried and finely chopped tomatoes. Omit the mustard in this variant.
