Chicken Nuggets in Cheese and Cracker Breading

Chicken breast nuggets will appeal to everyone, without exception! The chicken fillet cut into strips is marinated in kefir, making it very tender and juicy. Appetizing nuggets are fried in delicious breading of crackers, cheese, and Provencal herbs.

Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 300 g
  • Kefir 2.5% – 300 ml
  • Hard cheese – 70 g
  • Unsweetened crackers – 50 g
  • Salt – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Dried Provencal herbs – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 3 pinches
  • Chicken seasoning – 2-3 pinches
  • Vegetable oil for frying – 2 teaspoon

For filing:

  • Ketchup to taste
  • Fresh greens – to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the chicken fillet lengthwise into three layers. Lightly beat each layer of chicken meat with a hammer.
  2. Then salt, pepper, and sprinkle with chicken seasoning (one pinch at a time).
  3. Next, cut the chicken fillet across into strips 2-3 cm wide.
  4. Place the sliced ​​chicken fillet strips into a container.
  5. Pour kefir over the chicken and leave to marinate for 1 hour.
  6. Grind the crackers to a crumb state in a convenient way: with a crush, rolling pin, or with a blender.
  7. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
  8. Combine the breadcrumbs with the cheese and add the Provencal herbs and remaining spices. Stir.
  9. After a while, the chicken fillet was marinated. Dip one side of each breaded fillet.
  10. Then turn the fillets over and season on the other side.
  11. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet and add prepared fillet strips. Reduce heat to medium-low and fry the nuggets until golden brown for 3-4 minutes.
  12. Then turn over and fry the nuggets on the other side for 3-4 minutes.
