Classic American Burger

For example, you can take a classic American burger with you outdoors. And your children, capricious in food, will be simply happy if you cook such a burger for them – with a cutlet, vegetables, and cheese.

Ingredients

  • Burger buns – 6 pcs.
  • Minced veal – 600 g
  • Fresh tomatoes – 2 pcs. (300 g)
  • Pickled cucumbers (gherkins) – 4 pcs. (100 g)
  • Cheese for sandwiches, in individual plates – 6 pcs.
  • Leaf lettuce – 1 bunch (100 g)
  • Garlic sauce – 2 tbsp (100 g)
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Spices for meat – to taste
  • Vegetable oil

How to make a classic American burger:

Directions

  1. Prepare foods for a classic American burger. Cut the burger buns horizontally in half.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into slices 0.5 cm thick. Remove the slices of cheese from the packaging. Slice the pickled cucumbers lengthwise or across, 0.3 cm thick.
  3. For a burger, be sure to take high-quality fresh minced veal, because it will be fried very quickly. In a bowl, combine the minced meat with salt, pepper, and meat spices.
  4. Divide the minced meat into six equal parts (it is convenient to do this with wet hands). Form each part into a flat cutlet to fit the width of the buns. Place them in a greased, preheated grill pan, flattening them slightly on top with a wide spatula.
  5. After 5 minutes, turn the patties, fry for another 3 minutes, and remove the patties from the pan.
  6. We start to shape the hamburger. Place the bottom of the bun on board.
  7. You can immediately grease the bottom of the bun with sauce, but I put the salad leaf first, so the bun does not get wet and remains crispy.
  8. Pour in 2 teaspoon. sauce, place the cutlet and a slice of tomato on top.
  9. Top the tomato with a plate of cheese and sliced flat cucumbers.
  10. Grease the top of the toasted bun with sauce (or ketchup) and place on the cucumbers and lettuce, lightly pressing the bun.
  11. Shape the rest of the burgers in the same way. Classic American burgers are ready.
