by Editorial Staff

A closed pan pizza is a great option for an original breakfast, a quick bite, or even a family dinner. Such a pizza is prepared from yeast-free dough on kefir with the addition of mayonnaise. Any filling can be, but especially juicy and tasty, such a quick pizza is made with ham, cheese and vegetables.

Ingredients

For the test:

  • Wheat flour – 350 g
  • Kefir – 200 ml
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Mayonnaise – 3 tbsp
  • Salt – 2 pinches

For filling:

  • Ham – 100 g
  • Hard cheese – 70 g
  • Sweet pepper – 1 pc.
  • Tomatoes – 120 g
  • Onions – 60 g
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 100 ml

Directions

  1. Prepare products for cooking closed pizza in a pan. Remove kefir from the refrigerator in advance so that it is at room temperature. It is better to use classic mayonnaise without additives. These products will make 4 closed pizzas with cheese and ham.
  2. Pour kefir into a bowl. Drive in an egg there. Shake a little.
  3. Add Mayo.
  4. Pour in baking soda and salt. Mix well. Leave for 1-2 minutes for the soda to react with kefir.
  5. Pour in half a serving of flour.
  6. Mix.
  7. Pour in the remaining flour and knead with your hands a soft, non-sticky dough. Leave the dough to rest under a towel for 15-20 minutes.
  8. For the filling, cut the ham into strips. Peel the bell peppers and cut them into strips.
  9. Cut hard cheese into strips or grate on a coarse grater. Peel and cut onions into half rings.
  10. Wash the tomatoes and cut into small pieces.
  11. Then divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll each piece of dough into a layer about 0.5 cm thick and 12-15 cm in diameter.
  12. Place 1/4 of ham, cheese, onion, bell peppers and tomatoes on one layer of dough, leaving the edges free.
  13. Cover the filling with another layer of dough on top, press the edges with your fingers.
  14. You can also press down the edges with a fork. Form 3 more closed pizzas with filling in the same way.
  15. Preheat a skillet with butter, turn the heat slightly lower than medium. Place the covered pizza in the pan and fry for about 1.5-2 minutes.
  16. Then turn over and fry on the reverse side for another 1 minute. In this way, fry the remaining pizzas in a pan.
  17. This is how you can quickly make a delicious pizza without the oven.

Enjoy your meal!
