Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 5 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) cinnamon
  • 300 grams flour
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 80 g walnuts, chopped
  • 100 g chocolate, dark, diced
  • 200 g rapes, reen, halved and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 100 ml milk

For decoration:

  • Walnuts, cut in half
  • Grapes, cut in half

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with the sifted sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon and rum with the egg yolks added individually until frothy.
  2. Mix flour with baking powder, sieve and mix with chopped nuts and chocolate chips. Mix with the milk under the yolk. Beat egg whites into snow and fold in.
  3. Lightly dust halved, pitted grapes with flour and fold into the dough.
  4. Pour the dough into a greased, floured Gugelhupf tin and bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 60 minutes.
  5. Let the Gugelhupf cool, turn it out and decorate with walnuts and grapes.
