Ingredients

  • 600 g pork
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 3 tablespoon vinegar (fruit vinegar)
  • 3 tablespoon soy sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoon oil (sesame oil)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 300 g veetables (peppers, carrots) or more!
  • 5 mushrooms (tongu or other Chinese mushrooms), soaked
  • 4 slices pineapple
  • 1 piece (s) ginger (about 2-3 cm), finely chopped
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • food starch

Instructions

  1. Make a marinade from honey, chili sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
  2. Cut the pork into cubes, leave to stand in the marinade for 1 hour.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a wok, fry the meat cubes in it, stirring constantly, remove and prepare. Chop the vegetables (including the onions) and fry them in the remaining fat. Add the mushrooms, pineapple and ginger and cook briefly, pour in the vegetable stock, add the meat, season with soy sauce.
  4. Thicken with cornstarch and bring to the boil briefly.
  5. (I usually stir the cornstarch into the soy sauce and then add it.)
