Hot Dog in a Baguette with Garlic-Cheese Crust

You can make delicious hot dogs from ordinary baguette and sausages at home. Since they don’t have any ketchup or mayonnaise, these hot dogs are much healthier. Both adults and children will be delighted with the crispy garlic-cheese crust and soft hot sausage inside the baguette.

Ingredients
- Baguette – 1 pc. (250 g)
- Sausages – 5 pcs. (250 g)
- Butter – 30 g
- Parmesan cheese – 30 g
- Garlic – 1 clove
- Fresh parsley – 2 sprigs
- Salt – a pinch
- Ground pepper (pepper mixture) – 1 pinch
Directions
- Cut the baguette into five parts with a special bread knife so as not to crush the crumb and break the crust.
- Pierce each piece of baguette through (with a spoon handle, for example,) and tuck a sausage into the hole.
- Chop the parsley with a knife. Peel and chop the garlic. Grate the cheese on the finest grater.
- Melt the butter in a small, deep container (for example, in the microwave or in a water bath).
- Add finely chopped parsley to the melted butter.
- Add garlic and cheese to this, salt, and add a mixture of peppers.
- Put the sausage baguette on a baking sheet or in any other form that can be put in the oven.
- Spread the garlic cheese mass over the surface of the baguette.
- Place the sausages in a baguette in a hot oven for 15-20 minutes.
- The crust is crispy and rosy.
