Hot Sandwiches with Champignons and Cheese (in the Oven)

Today I cook hot sandwiches with champignons and cheese in the oven. I prepare such sandwiches for the holidays, and simply at the request of family members. Everybody loves these delicious, slightly crunchy sandwiches for me. They are prepared simply and quickly, and the result is always pleasing. If your family loves mushrooms, then cook a large portion right away.

Ingredients

  • Fresh champignons – 180 g
  • Hard cheese – 70 g
  • White bread – 14-16 slices
  • Onions (small) – 1 pc. (60 g)
  • Sour cream – 50 g
  • Butter – 15 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Wash fresh champignons, dry, and cut into small cubes.
  2. Cut the loaf into slices.
  3. Rub hard cheese on a fine grater.
  4. Chop the peeled onions very finely with a knife.
  5. We combine mushrooms, onions, cheese, butter. Add sour cream, salt, spices, and mix. The spread should not be very runny.
  6. Spread the resulting mixture on bread, about 1 tbsp, and level. Put the sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. We bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. Be sure to focus on the features of your oven. After 15 minutes I turn on the grill mode for 2-3 minutes, for lightly browning the sandwiches on top.
  8. Hot sandwiches with mushrooms and cheese, in the oven, ready.
