Ingredients

  • 1 large kohlrabi
  • Salt water
  • 2 pickled cucumber (s)
  • some onion
  • 60 ml salad cream or mayonnaise, reduced fat
  • some cucumber liquid
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Broth, grains
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • some ketchup
  • parsley or chives
  • some sweetener, possibly

Instructions

  1. Cut the kohlrabi into cubes and do not cook until buttery in a little salted water. Meanwhile, cut the cucumber and stir the dressing.
  2. Mix the salad cream with the spices, the onion and 2 - 3 tablespoons of the cucumber liquid. If necessary, you can add a little granular broth to taste. A little mustard and ketchup add the finishing touches.
  3. Add the drained kohlrabi and the cucumber and stir everything well. The best thing to do is to let the salad sit overnight, but a couple of hours can do it too. If you like, you can cut ham or egg into it.
