Ingredients

  • 200 g meat sausae or poultry sausae, cut into short strips
  • 100 g cheese (rather soft), cut into short strips, possibly reduced in fat
  • 2 small onions, cut into rings
  • 2 medium gherkin (s), not too sour, diced
  • 2 medium tomato (s), diced

For the dressing:

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar, fine (e.g. balsamico bianco)
  • 2 tablespoon oil, neutral or
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil, possibly more
  • 1 teaspoon mustard, medium hot
  • Salt and pepper, whiter from the mill
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar or
  • 1 dash sweetener, liquid

Instructions

  1. Whisk the ingredients for the dressing in a bowl with a small whisk to form an emulsion.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl, cover and let steep in the refrigerator for 1 - 2 hours. Stir once in between, season to taste before serving.
