Ingredients
- 250 g low-fat quark
- 10 tablespoon whole milk
- 10 tablespoon oil
- 6 tablespoon sugar
- 2 packs vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch (s) salt
- some lemon peel aroma or grated lemon peel
- 475 g flour (please weih exactly)
- 1 ½ pack baking powder
- some raisins to decorate
- Grease for the tin

- Mix the quark, milk, oil, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and lemon flavor with a hand mixer until smooth. Mix flour and baking powder and add. Stir in with a spatula and finally knead until smooth with your hands. The dough should no longer stick!
- Grease a baking sheet well.
- Now divide the dough into thirds and form a 25 cm long roll from it. Press this flat into an oval and shape the head. Cut the arms and legs into the sides and shape them. Press in the raisins deeply for the face and body. Put the mare guy on the tray and brush it well with milk (2 pieces fit on one tray - so work with 2 trays).
- Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C on the middle rack for approx. 10-15 minutes until golden brown. After baking, remove from the tray with a knife, but leave to cool for about 20 minutes. Only then let cool down completely on a wire rack.
- Tip: If you knead 150 g raisins under the dough, you can bake 15 small raisin rolls instead of the Stutenkerle. The baking time is then also 15 - 20 minutes at the same temperature on the middle rack.
