Ingredients

  • 250 g quark / low-fat quark
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 220 g suar
  • 2 packs vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoon rum, (if children simply leave out the rum when they eat!)
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • Fat, for frying
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Knead all ingredients except for the fat with the dough hook of the hand mixer! Heat the fat to approx. 180 ° C and cut off small balls with two teaspoons and fry until golden brown while floating in the fat. Dust with powdered sugar.
  2. Much easier to make than using yeast to make a dough. Tastes sensational!
