  • 3 orange (s)
  • 3 tablespoon orange liqueur, optional
  • 125 g mascarpone
  • 400 g quark (20% fat)
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 fig (s) and lemon balm, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Fillet the oranges, collecting the juice. Divide the orange fillets in four dessert bowls and sprinkle with orange liqueur if necessary. Mix the mascarpone, quark, vanilla sugar and orange juice until smooth. Add sugar to taste.
  2. Spread the mascarpone cream on the oranges. Wash, dry and slice the figs. Garnish the dessert with figs and lemon balm.
  3. Also tastes good with blood oranges or grapefruits (also mixed).
  4. Tip: Reduced fat with light cream cheese (30% fat) and low-fat quark. Possibly Season the cream with 1 pinch of cinnamon or aniseed. The cream also looks great in large tall stemmed wine glasses.
