  • 255 g suar
  • 100 ml water
  • 50 ml syrup, alternatively honey
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ cinnamon, ground
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ cardamom, ground
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ ginger, ground
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ clove (s), ground
  • 200 g mararine or butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 600 g flour (wheat flour)
  • possibly cognac

Instructions

  1. Bring the water with the sugar and the spices to the boil. Then let it cool slightly and gradually add the fat. Adults can add 2 more tablespoons of cognac. Stir vigorously.
