Ingredients

  • 4 schnitzel
  • some clarified butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 medium onion (s), diced
  • 200 g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can tomato (s) in pieces, 425 ml
  • 200 ml meat stock
  • 1 clove garlic, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon herbs, Italian, dried
  • 150 g cheese, rated

Instructions

  1. Season the schnitzel and fry in hot clarified butter for several minutes on each side. Place in a baking dish.
  2. Fry the minced meat in the frying fat (add a little clarified butter if necessary), fry the onion cubes until translucent and fry the mushroom slices briefly. Add the diced tomatoes and garlic, deglaze with the meat stock and season with the herbs. Let simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Pour the sauce over the schnitzel, sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven at 180 ° for 30-40 minutes.
  4. Serve with tagliatelle or spaghetti.
