Ingredients

  • 250 g split peas
  • Water, cold for soaking
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • some salt and pepper
  • some oil for frying
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • some stalks dill
  • some water

Instructions

  1. Soak the split peas in cold water overnight, then drain. Peel and roughly chop an onion and puree together with the peas in the food processor. Stir in an egg, season with salt and pepper.
  2. Shape patties with a tablespoon and fry on both sides in hot oil.
  3. For the sauce, puree 2 cloves of garlic, dill, a little salt and 200 ml of water. Serve the sauce in a bowl.
