Sandwiches with Cheese, Bell Pepper and Pesto

Grilled sandwiches are prepared with cheese, pesto, and bell pepper.

Cook: 15 minutes

Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • Provolone cheese – 4 slices (40 g each)
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded on a grater) – 0.5 cups
  • Bulgarian red pepper (cut into 4 parts) – 1 pc.
  • Pesto sauce with walnuts – 0.25 cups
  • Yeast-free bread – 8 slices (25 g each)
  • Vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Switch on the grill to preheat.
  2. Grease pieces of bell pepper with vegetable oil. Place on a preheated grill, cook for about 8 minutes, until lightly charred.
  3. For each slice of bread, apply 1.5 teaspoons of pesto sauce. On four of 8 slices, put 1 slice of Prolonsky cheese, add 2 tbsp of mozzarella and put 1 slice of pepper, cover with the remaining slices of bread. Grease slices of bread on the outside with butter.
  4. Place sandwiches on a press grill, cover, and cook for about 3 minutes until the cheese melts. Serve immediately.
