Ingredients
- 1 kg potato (s)
- 500 g bacon, diced, or other raw smoked ham
- 2 large onions, cut into cubes
- salt
- pepper
- Caraway powder

- Cook the potatoes as boiled potatoes as usual.
- In the meantime, fry the bacon and onion cubes. Deglaze the now cooked potatoes with a little cooking water. So much so that a nice sauce is created. Season well with salt (careful, as the bacon is already salty), pepper and some ground caraway seeds.
- Drain the potatoes completely and mix them with the bacon and onion sauce.
- Meatballs also taste particularly good.
