Ingredients

  • 2 rolls
  • some Milk
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • Flour as required, approx. 200 g

Instructions

  1. Soak the rolls (they can also be dry ones) in the milk until they are completely soaked. Then add the eggs and a pinch of salt and stir well with the dough hook and add flour until it has become a sticky dough that you can spoon so to speak. If the dough has become too firm, add milk.
  2. Scheppen (spoon) the dumplings in boiling salted water and let them steep for about 10 minutes. When they`re done, they swim up.
  3. They taste good both as an accompaniment to hearty dishes and as a dessert with cinnamon sugar or compote.
