Cevice: Step-By-Step Recipe

Ceviche is an exquisite yet easy to prepare the dish. It is made from raw seafood (scallops, shrimp, squid, fish, etc.). Here’s how to make ceviche.

Ingredients

  • Whitefish (fillet) 4 pcs
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Tomatoes 3 pcs
  • Red onion 2 pcs
  • Tomato juice 50 ml
  • Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
  • Greens (parsley and cilantro) to taste
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Sauce to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the fish fillet into large cubes, put it in a glass container, and fill it with lemon juice. We leave for 24 hours. Then we filter the fish and pour out the marinade.
  2. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes, cut the onions into half rings. Mix vegetables with pickled fish. Add fresh lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, tabasco, chopped herbs, and tomato juice. Stir and leave for 30 minutes.
  3. Then season the ceviche with olive oil and spread the appetizer on the lettuce leaves. Decorate with a slice of lime.
