Sweet Cheese Donuts

Curd donuts made from sweet vanilla curd cheeses are a dessert from childhood that many will remember. Such donuts are prepared very quickly, very few ingredients are needed, and after half an hour you can enjoy a fragrant and tasty breakfast.

Ingredients

  • Sweet vanilla cheeses – 4 pcs. (400 g)
  • Wheat flour – 10 tbsp (200 g) + for working with dough
  • Sugar – 4 tbsp (50 g)
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Soda – 1 teaspoon
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) – 500 ml

Directions

  1. Combine sugar, baking soda and sifted wheat flour in a deep bowl.
  2. Beat the eggs into the same bowl, mix.
  3. Add sweet vanilla cheeses, free of packaging. Stir all ingredients with a spoon.
  4. Knead a soft and sticky dough. Try not to add more flour so that the donuts are not dense, but loose and fluffy.
  5. Dust your hands with wheat flour and pinch a piece off the dough. Roll a ball about 2-2.5 cm in diameter in your palms.

    Do this with the whole dough, placing the curd balls on a floured board.
  6. Dip 8-10 curd balls into the heated vegetable oil. The donuts will approximately double in size, so do not fry them all at once. The balls should float freely in the oil.
  7. There is no need to turn the donuts to the other side, they themselves rotate and are fried from all sides.
    It takes 4-5 minutes to fry each batch of donuts.
  8. Remove the finished donuts with a slotted spoon on a plate covered with a paper towel and fry the next portion.
  9. From the specified number of ingredients, 50 donuts are obtained.
  10. Serve the curd balls with tea while still warm.
  11. Despite the fact that the inside of the donuts is tender and airy, after pressing, they easily regain their shape.
