Ingredients

  • 500 g batate (s) (sweet potatoes)
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 175 grams sugar
  • 125 ml milk
  • 2 egg (s)
  • some nutmeg
  • some cinnamon
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 cake base (pie crust, in my recipes)

Instructions

  1. Cook the sweet potatoes in their skins for a good 40 minutes, until they are completely soft. Rinse with cold water and remove the peel. Finely mash the sweet potatoes in a bowl, add the butter and stir with the mixer. Add sugar, milk, eggs and spices. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  2. Bake the pie at 175 degrees for about 50 minutes.
  3. Serve lukewarm with vanilla ice cream.
