  • 6 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 13 tablespoon flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 1 chocolate - Santa Claus (or Easter bunny)
  • 50 g couverture your choice

Instructions

  1. The ingredients are sufficient for half a tray of approx. 20 cm x 25 cm.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top / bottom heat (convection: 175 ° C).
  3. Mix the softened butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs until creamy. Mix the flour with baking powder and stir in. Smash the chocolate body in a freezer bag and stir into the batter. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper, fill up the dough and smooth it out a little.
  4. Put in the hot oven and bake for about 12 minutes on the middle rack. Carry out a stick test (my oven sometimes just needs 8 to 10 minutes - depending on how much it was preheated).
  5. Melt the couverture in a warm water bath and sprinkle the slightly cooled cake with it. To let it cool down.
  6. Tip: double the portion for a whole tray or even triple it for a slightly taller cake. Then extend the baking time and keep checking how wide the cake is while baking.
