Ingredients

  • 500 ml pumpkin pulp
  • 500 ml milk
  • 70 grams sugar
  • 45 g semolina, preferably soft wheat semolina
  • 0.5 ½ pack vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • cinnamon powder
  • egg (s)

Sweet Pumpkin Soup with Semolina

Instructions

  1. Puree the pumpkin flesh very finely and bring to the boil with milk, sugar and vanilla sugar. Sprinkle in the semolina, bring to the boil again and simmer at a low temperature for about 5 minutes. Now remove from the heat and stir vigorously. Add butter and approx. 1 teaspoon cinnamon and beat well.
  2. If you like, you can also add a beaten, whisked egg in addition to cinnamon and butter.
