Ingredients

  • 300 grams flour
  • 3 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Milk, as needed

For the filling:

  • 3 tablespoon mountain cheese, grated
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 2 tablespoon sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oregano, fresh or dried
  • 1 pinch (s) nutmeg, grated
  • 1 egg white
  • Clarified butter, for the pan

Instructions

  1. Put the flour in a bowl. Add eggs, a little pepper & salt, possibly a little more milk and knead with your hands until you have a smooth dough. Cover and let rest for approx. 2 hours
  2. Prepare the filling from cheese, quark, sour cream, herbs, salt, pepper and nutmeg
  3. Roll out the dough thinly on a floured work surface and cut out circles with a larger glass approx. 8 cm in diameter. Each circle is filled with 1 tablespoon of filling, the edge is coated with egg white, and the dough slices are folded up. Press the edges well.
  4. If possible, heat the clarified butter in an iron saucepan and bake the tartlets in the hot lard until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Side dish of lettuce and tomato salad
