Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 125 g mararine
  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 100 g marzipan paste

For the filling:

  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 25 g mararine
  • 50 g powdered suar
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 100 g mascarpone

For the glaze:

  • 200 g cake icin, dark
  • 200 g cake icin, lemon

For decoration: sugar pearls

  • Pistachios
  • Nuts, planed

Instructions

  1. Beat the marzipan and margarine until creamy. Add the flour, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolk and knead into a smooth dough, wrap in foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Roll out the dough between 2 layers of cling film or baking paper 1/2 cm thick, cut out approx. 4 cm hearts, stars or other shapes (I always make diamonds) and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven (E 200 °, gas: setting 4, fan: 180 °) for 8 - 10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
  4. For the filling, chop up the chocolate and melt it in a water bath. Whip the margarine, powdered sugar, rum and mascarpone, add the chocolate spoon by spoon. Pour the mixture into a piping bag and chill until the cream has set.
  5. Pour on the filling and put 2 cookies together.
  6. Cover with one of the liquid glazes.
  7. To garnish, put the different colored glaze in a plastic bag, cut off a small corner and decorate the cookies.
  8. Garnish with the decoration material of your choice.
