Turkey Beef Stroganoff, in Sour Cream-Tomato Sauce

Turkey fillet in sauce is a variant of the well-known dish called “beef stroganoff”. The turkey meat is cut into long strips, breaded in flour and fried until golden brown, and then stewed in sour cream-tomato sauce along with fried onions. The meat is tender, aromatic and very tasty, the sauce is in perfect harmony with the turkey. Even a novice cook can cook a dish according to this recipe.

Ingredients

  • Turkey fillet – 250-300 g
  • Onions – 50 g
  • Sour cream – 100 ml
  • Tomato paste – 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 2-3 tbsp
  • Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – 1/3 teaspoon (to taste)
  • Ground black pepper – 1/5 teaspoon (to taste)

For the filling (optional):

  • Fresh parsley – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare the food you need.
    Rinse the turkey fillet and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
  3. Cut the turkey fillet into long strips.
  4. In a bowl, season the chopped onion with 1 tablespoon. tablespoons of flour.
  5. In a preheated pan with the addition of 1 tablespoon. fry the onion over medium heat until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes). Remove the onions from the pan.
  6. Pour the rest of the flour into a different container and season the turkey.
  7. Pour the remaining oil into the pan and fry the turkey meat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown
  8. Then add the fried onions to the turkey meat.
  9. Add sour cream, tomato paste, salt and ground pepper. Stir.
  10. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer the stroganoff over low heat for 10-12 minutes. Turkey beef stroganoff, in sour cream-tomato sauce, ready.
  11. Serve turkey beef stroganoff with any side dish like mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. Use any fresh herbs for decoration.
