Youka with Herbs

Ingredients

  • Thin lavash – 1 pc.
  • Hard cheese – 25-30 g
  • Greens to taste
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Butter – for frying

Directions

  1. Grate cheese, chop greens.
  2. beat the egg in the middle of the pita bread, stir a little with a fork, salt, and pepper. Add cheese and herbs.
  3. Fold the edges of the pita bread so that you get a triangle.
  4. Melt butter in a frying pan. Place the pita bread, seam side down, in a pan, and fry on both sides until golden brown.
  5. Place the yoku and cheese on a platter and serve. Fried hot pita yoka is especially tasty. Bon Appetit!
