- 4 large apples
- 1 bag flaked almonds
- 5 tablespoon sugar
- 8 butter flakes
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 170 g sweet cream
- 3 egg yolks

- Peel the apples and remove the casing with a cookie cutter, then cut in half and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons of sugar and place the almonds in the hole in the middle and on top of the apple, placing a small flake of butter on each of the apples.
- Now bake in the preheated oven at approx. 200 ° C for 20 minutes (convection: approx. 170 ° C)
- In the meantime, the chocolate sauce can be prepared:
- Chop the chocolate and melt in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the cream and 2 tablespoons of sugar and stir with a whisk.
- Now stir in the egg yolks and stir into a nice sauce (don`t worry: the sauce will turn nice and brown after stirring for about 3 minutes).
- Now distribute the baked apples on 4 plates and pour the sauce over them.
