Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites in a separate bowl until stiff. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar and margarine until frothy. Peel the bananas, mash them with a fork and add to the egg yolk mixture. Now mix the flour with baking powder, hazelnuts, cinnamon, clove powder and cocoa powder and stir in. Carefully fold in the egg whites. Now grease two loaf pan (a 35 cm bread pan and a 25 cm loaf cake pan) and spread the dough in them.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for approx. 1 hour. When the cake turns dark on top, cover with greaseproof paper or silver foil. Let the cake cool down.
  3. The large box cake tapering towards the top and cut the body round at the top. Cut the wings out of the small box cake - possibly even attach them to the large rocket body with toothpicks or simply lay them next to it. Now melt the chocolate icing according to the instructions and cover the cake with it (since the dough is crumbly, the icing will not be smooth). Immediately decorate with smarties and other things. Finally, decorate with candles as desired.
  4. Tips: We laminated the Germany flag and put it on the cake.
  5. You can make any batter - then usually use double the amount.
