Ingredients

  • 1 chicken (approx. .2 kg)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 3 teaspoons paprika powder, noble sweet
  • 80 ml olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch (s) pepper
  • 100 ml beer (black beer, alternatively Pils or malt beer)
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the chicken. Mix the spices in a bowl. Rub the outside of the chicken vigorously with the spice mixture.
  2. Pour 100 ml from the beer bottle into a glass. Use the rest differently. Soak the empty bottle in hot water. The label can be peeled off very easily after approx. 10 minutes. Thoroughly clean the bottle.
  3. Now add the rest of the spice mixture with the olive oil and beer to the bottle. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the wire rack on the bottom rail. Close the neck of the chicken and put it on the beer bottle. Put the chicken and bottle in a round baking dish (because of the mess) and place on the wire rack (fits in every normal stove), approx. 50 minutes per kg. Nothing happens to the beer bottle because it heats up evenly.
