Fish Baked with Sour Cream, Tomato and Cheese Sauce

I propose to cook wonderful fish with sour cream, tomato, and cheese sauce. It is prepared very simply and quickly, but it turns out tasty and healthy. Perfect for lunch or dinner.

Cook: 45 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Fillet of cod (or other white fish) – 300 g
  • Sour cream – 3 tbsp
  • Hard cheese (preferably parmesan) – 40 g
  • Tomato – 1 pc. (about 100 g)
  • Fresh dill – 5 branches
  • Green onions – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. Lubricate the portioned baking dishes (I have ramekins) with vegetable oil. Cut the fish into two portions and place in a baking dish. You can also bake the fish in one large dish. Turn on the oven, preheat to 180 degrees.
  2. Place sour cream in a bowl, salt, and pepper.
  3. Peel the garlic and chop. Add the garlic to the sour cream bowl.
  4. Finely chop the green onion and add to the bowl with sour cream and garlic.
  5. Finely chop the dill and add to a bowl. Leave some of the dills for decoration.
  6. Make a cross-shaped, shallow cut in the tomato. Dip in boiling water for 5 minutes, then transfer to cold water. Peel off the skin.
  7. Cut the tomato into cubes and add to the bowl with sour cream, garlic, and herbs.
  8. Grate the cheese on a fine grater and place in a bowl.
  9. Mix everything.
  10. Divide the mixture into molds on top of the fillets.
  11. Bake fish with sour cream, tomato, and cheese sauce in a hot oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
  12. Remove cooked fish from oven and sprinkle with remaining dill.
  13. Fish with sour cream, vegetables, and cheese sauce is ready. Serve immediately as a separate dish or with any side dish.
