- 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
- 200 g sweet cream
- Fruit, mixed, fresh or canned
- some sugar
- 1 pack brittle
- 1 packet almond (s), slivers
- Food coloring
- Fruit, for garnish

- Wash the fruit, dice it, add sugar and place in a baking dish or a nice fruit bowl. Put the quark in a bowl, add some cream and stir. The quark has to be nice and creamy, so not too much cream, otherwise it will be too runny. Now maybe sugar again.
- I think it`s especially nice when you color the cream with yellow food coloring in summer. It looks really fresh then.
- Pour the quark mixture over the fruit salad and smooth it out so that everything is covered with quark. Mix the almond slivers and the brittle and sprinkle over the quark. You shouldn`t see any quark on the surface anymore, so sprinkle it nicely.
- Now garnish with a few cherries or, depending on the season, with something else and chill for about 1 hour.
- The dessert is called gratinated fruit salad because when finished it looks as if it were gratinated.
