Hot Sandwiches “Eternal Classics”

The simple and everyone’s favorite combination “tomato-cheese-garlic” + “chicken-egg”, laid on the bread and baked in the oven, is a win-win!

Ingredients

  • Large area bread – 5 pieces
  • Chicken fillet – 1 pc.
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Medium tomatoes – 2 pcs.
  • Cheese – 100 g (or to taste)
  • Garlic – 2 cloves (or to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil – for frying

How to make hot chicken and tomato sandwiches:

Directions

  1. Put 2 eggs in a saucepan with water and put on fire. After boiling, cook for 10 minutes, that is, hard-boiled.
  2. While the eggs are boiling, we process one chicken fillet, as you usually do, cut it into pieces, and put it in a blender. Salt, pepper and turn into minced meat.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the minced meat to the degree you want. As always, we carefully break the lumps. We put the minced meat on a plate and leave it to cool.
  4. When the eggs are boiled, drain the hot water, fill the eggs with cold water and also leave to cool.
  5. While everything is cooling down, cut 2 medium tomatoes into small cubes and put them in a bowl, in which we will cook the filling. (Tomatoes can be substituted for bell peppers.)
  6. Rub 100 grams of cheese, or to taste, on a fine grater. Add half to the bowl with the tomatoes, and leave half for now. We also rub a couple of garlic cloves on a fine grater or pass through a press. Add to tomatoes and cheese. Mix everything well.
  7. Add the cooled minced meat to the bowl.
  8. Peel and cut the eggs into small cubes. Add to a bowl and mix well again.
  9. You can pepper the filling, and there is enough salt in the cheese and minced meat.
  10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cover the baking sheet with non-stick parchment or a non-stick mat. Put the filling on the bread, directly on dry, without oil. We layout the sandwiches on a baking sheet, again without greasing anything. We bake sandwiches with chicken and tomatoes for 10-15 minutes.
  11. After that, take out, sprinkle with cheese and return to the oven until the cheese melts. (You can use convection, but so as not to burn the bread.)
  12. If you prepare eggs and chicken in advance, then you will cook such sandwiches in 25 minutes, 15 of which they will bake themselves without your participation. Instead of minced chicken, you can use boiled chicken or canned tuna.
