Jelly Rolls

To make these adorable jelly rolls, you only need three ingredients – jelly powder with your favorite flavor, airy marshmallow marshmallows, and plain water. The result will pleasantly surprise you – the spiral sweets are very tasty, the children are delighted with them!

Cook: 6 hours 15 minute

Ingredients

  • Jelly – 100 g
  • Water – 130 ml
  • Marshmallow – 100 g

Directions

  1. Pour the jelly powder into a bowl. (I have cherry jelly, you can make jelly with your favorite flavor.)
  2. Pour boiling water over the jelly powder and stir until the gelatin grains dissolve.
  3. Transfer the marshmallows to a bowl and microwave until the marshmallows are large and tender. Pour the swollen candy-marshmallows with dissolved jelly.
  4. Whisk the jelly and marshmallow together. If necessary, the mixture can be heated slightly in the microwave. The finished mixture should be uniform both in color and consistency.
  5. Pour the mixture into a mold, greased with a little sunflower oil. (I used a rectangular silicone mold measuring 24 cm by 18 cm, I didn’t lubricate it with anything, in principle, it could also be lubricated.)

    Put the mold with the gelatin mixture in the refrigerator overnight or for 6 hours.
  6. Then take out the form and, carefully separating the layer from the form, roll it into a tight roll.
  7. Cut the finished roll into small pieces. Place the jelly rolls on a plate.
