Ingredients

  • 1 kg minced meat
  • 1 small bell pepper (s), red
  • 2 medium onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 medium egg (s)
  • 5 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled salt
  • 4 tablespoon breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Wash, core and finely dice the bell pepper. Peel and dice the onion as well.
  2. Put the minced meat together with all the other ingredients, but only two of the five tablespoons of ketchup, in a bowl and knead. Preheat the oven to 200 Β° C (convection). Then shape a loaf similar to bread.
  3. Season the rest of the ketchup with additional salt, pepper and paprika powder, season to taste and coat the meatloaf with it - this gives a delicious crust!
  4. Cook in a preheated oven at 180 Β° C (convection) for about 60 minutes, then reduce the heat to 160 Β° C and finish cooking for another 30 minutes.
  5. This goes well with ribbon noodles or potatoes with pea and carrots vegetables, or the whole thing as a burger on a roll with lettuce, tomato and onions.
